I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME AND ENJOYED THEMSELVES.
MY HEART IS SO FULL FROM ALL THE SUPPORT AND FROM ALL YOUR GENEROSITY THAT MADE THIS A VERY SUCCESSFUL DAY.
THESE BOYS WILL DEFINITELY GET OUT AND HAVE SOME FUN DAYS THROUGH THEIR SUMMER WHERE THEY CAN JUST BE KIDS... WHETHER ITS A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES, RIDING GO-KARTS, PUT PUT GOLF. I AM WORKING WITH A COORDINATOR AT THE HOME TO FIGURE OUT SOME FUN DAYS FOR THESE YOUNGSTERS. I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED ON WHAT IS DECIDED FROM THE FUNDS RAISED FROM THIS WONDERFUL FUNDRAISER...

As many of you know...I have a soft spot for the less fortunate/homeless. It just breaks my heart to see people go hungry, living on the streets and sometimes no family to turn to. It doesn't matter what it was that got them there, the thing is they are there and God forbid that could easily be you or me. We never know when the bottom could drop out in our own lives... so with this being said, every Monday I go downtown to stop by to see my homeless friends and serve them a nice hot breakfast...Then I got to thinking, you know me...I think a lot...I thought maybe some of you might want to be a part of this just by simply donating some things to compliment their meals....
( bottle water, fruit cups, granola bars, protein snacks ect...)
I also noticed that some of them are in dire need of shoes and socks so if you're looking to get rid of your old shoes I would be more then happy to take them off you hands and I know they would be so appreciative.
